Washington’s freedom-cratering permit-to-purchase scheme is scheduled to be heard at 8 a.m., on Tuesday, March 25 in the Senate Law & Justice Committee. Use the Take Action button to email the committee and urge them to vote “No” on HB 1163.
As previously reported, House Bill 1163, requires Washingtonians to apply for a permit to purchase before buying or transferring a firearm. In their goal to eliminate our values and lifestyle, animal and gun-control extremists want you to pay outrageous costs and fees along the way. There is no minimum or maximum fee mentioned in the bill for processing the application, fingerprinting, criminal background check, and safety training with a live-fire component, nor is there a cost or funding mechanism to pay for the set-up and upkeep of the new state registry.
It does not make sense for a state that is facing a budget deficit upwards of $15 billion in the coming years to implement an expensive tracking system focused only on its law-abiding citizens. Because only the law-abiding will follow the law, the criminals will only flout the law and continue to attack citizens victimized by HB1163.
Don’t forget to share this important alert with your family, friends, fellow sportsmen and gun owners to take action today.
