First Public Commission Meeting After Bad Governance Revealed
The Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission agenda for next week’s meeting is posted, and it’s time for Washington’s sportsmen and women to show up and be heard! Public input is scheduled for both Friday, June 27, and Saturday, June 28, but please sign up to speak in advance because a very large crowd is expected.
This is the first public meeting since the Sportsmen’s Alliance and the Conservation Coalition of Washington revealed internal communications showing that several sitting commissioners have engaged in all manner of bad governance – including violating Washington law – to advance an extremist agenda to crater Washington’s outdoor heritage and sweep sportsmen and women into the dustbin of history.
“This is when sportsmen and women can show up and be heard on this mountain of evidence showing collusion, backroom dealing, and violations of law,” said Todd Adkins, Senior Vice President at the Sportsmen’s Alliance. “The public deserves answers from these commissioners, and we hope they don’t try and hide from the facts we’ve made public for all to see.”
From now until the meeting, the Sportsmen’s Alliance will post new documents, covering subjects from A to Z, and involving each of the “fanatical four” commissioners: Barbara Baker, John Lehmkuhl, Melanie Rowland, and Lorna Smith.
“Even though what we’ve already brought forward is shocking, sadly, there’s a lot more to come,” added Adkins. “It’s obvious these commissioners don’t care about norms, don’t care about the law, don’t care about Washington – they only care about their extreme ideology and remain hellbent on forcing sportsmen and women off the landscape forever.”
