Who is conducting these raffles?
The Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation is hosting this raffle with sales assistance from the WYldlife Fund, the Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation and the Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries, Parks, Marine Foundation.
How much are tickets?
MEGA Raffle tickets are $100
Fishing Frenzy Raffle tickets are $25
Dream Vacation Raffle tickets are $25
50/50 Raffle tickets are $25
Browning Bonus Raffle tickets are FREE with the purchase of three or more MEGA Raffle tickets.
How will I know my ticket numbers?
After your ticket(s) are purchased, you will receive an email confirming your purchase from Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation. Ticket numbers will be assigned individually for each entry through a secure drawing system and maintained electronically.
What are my odds of winning? Can I win more than once?
For each raffle, the odds of winning is dependent upon total number of tickets sold.For the MEGA Raffle, each ticket number will be entered into all drawings for the MEGA Raffle prizes, and each ticket is eligible to win more than once. For the Fishing Frenzy raffle, each ticket number will be entered into all drawings for the Fishing Frenzy Raffle prizes, and each ticket is eligible to win more than once.
For the Dream Vacation raffle and Browning Bonus raffle, there will only be one winner selected for each raffle. Odds will be dependent on total number of tickets sold.
When is the ticket purchase deadline?
Ticket sales will end at 11:59 p.m. mountain time on December 31, 2025.
How and when will winning ticket numbers be announced?
Winning numbers will be announced on or about January 22, 2026, via email to everyone who entered. Winners will be contacted via email and have 30 days to respond. Potential winners will contacted via phone if they do not respond to the email. Prizes will be forfeited after 30 days of nonresponse.
Do I have to be present to win?
No.
What if I don’t like my prize or can’t accept it?
In instances where a prize is declined, you will forfeit the prize and we will draw another winner. No alternate prizes will be awarded.
Are the prizes transferrable?
Entries are non-transferable but once you claim a prize it is yours to do with as you see fit. We cannot award the prize to anyone who did not purchase the winning ticket.

How will this charge appear on my credit card or financial statements?
Ticket purchases will show as a charge from the US Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation on checking and credit card statements.
Is my raffle ticket purchase tax deductible?
No, the IRS’ position is that amounts paid for chances to win in raffles, lotteries and similar drawings for prizes are wagers and do not qualify as deductible charitable contributions. However, your purchase supports the programs and activities of US Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation.
Who pays the taxes on prizes?
The short answer is the winner.SAF will issue a W2-G tax form for Prizes where appropriate. Such tax forms will be issued to the extent required by applicable law. SAF will not provide tax advice or assistance to any Potential Winner concerning the taxable implications or treatment of any Prize that is won. Each Potential Winner is responsible for any payment of all local, state and federal taxes resulting from the income attributable to the receipt of any Prize, and should consult a legal, tax, and/or accounting professional(s) regarding the tax treatment of his or her respective Prize(s).
Any Eligible Participant that wins a prize that is valued in excess of $5,000 (prize value minus the amount of the Raffle ticket(s) purchased), will be issued an IRS W-2G tax form, which is reportable on your taxes. We are required by the IRS to withhold and remit taxes on such prizes (currently 24% of the prize value). For all cash prize awards, we will simply deduct the required tax withholding from your cash payment. For all non-cash prizes that meet this threshold, we are required by the IRS to collect the 24% tax on the estimated fair market value of the prize. Failure to pay the required tax withholding on the prize will result in automatic forfeiture of that prize.
As part of this raffle SAF provides an estimated value for the Prizes, however, it is the responsibility of each and Potential Winner to determine the value of his or her respective Prize(s), and any tax effect or liabilities associated with each of them, in light of his or her personal financial circumstances. SAF and its employees and agents are not tax and/or legal professionals and cannot provide legal or tax advice.
