Today, Dec. 6, the Superior Court of New Jersey Appellate Division dismissed the challenge of extreme animal-rights activists to stop the emergency order of Gov. Phil Murphy that reinstated the bear hunt season in New Jersey.
The New Jersey Fish and Wildlife will open check stations from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. TODAY.
Judge Lisa Rose recognized and stated in her judgment, “the public interest advanced by respondents is grounded in the protection of the public from the growing bear population and commensurate damage and nuisance incidents. In our view, the balance of hardships tips in respondents’ favor.”
