The Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking applicants for volunteer positions on the Eastern and Western Upper Peninsula Citizens’ Advisory Council. The Council provides input to advise the DNR on regional programs and policies, identify areas in which the department can be more effective and responsive, and offer insight and guidance from members’ own experiences and constituencies.
This is an opportunity for an angler, hunter, or trapper to be actively involved in helping to protect and promote our outdoor heritage within the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR). If we don’t, then the animal extremists will, as they continue to press to fill such positions in other states while cratering our hunting, fishing, and trapping traditions from the inside out. We cannot let that happen in Michigan.
Use our Take Action button to learn more about the position and for the application form.
If you do not live in the U.P. but have friends or family with a primary residence in the U.P., forward the message to them. Sportsmen and women, gun owners, family, and friends throughout the state must work together and stay actively involved in protecting our way of life for present and future generations to enjoy.
