Brian Lynn
Vice President, Marketing & Communications
Brian has covered all things hunting and fishing, with an emphasis on conservation, sporting dogs and animal-rights issues, for nearly 25 years as senior editor of Outdoor Life and ESPNOutdoors, as well as covering those topics and many others for a multitude of print, digital and television outlets, including Petersen’s Hunting, Wildfowl, North American Elk, Field & Stream, Gun Dog, Northwest Sportsman Magazine, Shooting Sportsman, NRA’s American Hunter and others.
In his current role as the vice president of marketing and communications at the Sportsmen’s Alliance, he has spent the last decade fighting on the frontlines in the battle to protect hunting, fishing and trapping from attacks by the animal-rights movement. He oversees the organization’s outreach and messaging across all platforms and mediums, including print, digital, social and legacy media, as well as broadcast television, radio and podcasts.
Brian was born, raised, left and has returned to Washington state, where he swears current policies concerning fish and wildlife, as well as general public policy, have driven the state into a gloom greater than the never-ending rain west of the Cascade Mountains. When he’s not fighting for what’s right, he enjoys time afield with his son while employing every method available (usually with mediocre success) while big game, bird and predator hunting, as well as wetting a line for whatever he can get to bite a hook.
