Evan Heusinkveld
President & Chief Executive Officer
Evan has spent almost all of his professional career working to protect the hunting and conservation communities. As a seasoned government affairs and non-profit management executive, Evan has spent the past 8-plus years building and leading the Sportsmen’s Alliance and Foundation’s incredible team of professionals.
Before that, Evan lead the organization’s core mission efforts in a variety of roles, specializing in legal and legislative strategy, campaign management and public policy implementation at the state and federal level. During this time, the organization’s policy work was directly responsible for more than 2.5 million new hunters going afield for the first time.
Evan is a father to two incredible youngsters, Andrew and Emerson, who take every opportunity they’re afforded to scout for deer during car rides. When afield these days, it’s a good bet Evan is chasing something with his bow – whether that be whitetails in the fall or big game overseas.
