Last Friday, Hawai’i’s 32nd legislative session adjourned sine die. This means the regular session is completed for the year.
This year, the legislative session was quiet for sportsmen. Only a handful of sportsmen-related bills were introduced, one of which made it to the governor’s desk for consideration.
Senate Bill 2845 prohibits a person under the age of twenty-one from purchasing, possessing, or controlling ammunition, with limited exemptions.
Please use our Take Action button to email Governor Josh Green urging him to veto SB 2845. Criminals, by definition, do not follow the law. SB 2875 only adds to the long list of firearm laws that criminals are not following and only affects the law-abiding.
Don’t forget to share this alert with your family, friends, fellow sportsmen, and gun owners. Ask them to email the Governor urging him to support the law-abiding for a change and VETO SB 2845.
