Last week, the Wisconsin State Legislature officially adjourned its final general-business floor period for the 2025-2026 session. It was a quiet legislative session for sportsmen, with only a handful of sportsmen-related bills introduced, with nothing pro- or anti-sportsman making it to the governor’s desk for consideration.
The Fight for Wisconsin’s Traditions Continues
While the session is over, our work is not. Animal extremists and anti-hunting and gun groups never clock out. They are already pivoting to the interim period, looking for ways to bypass the legislature through ballot initiatives or administrative rule changes that threaten our traditions and lifestyle.
Stay Engaged and Mobilized
We’ve seen it in neighboring states: the moment we look away, they strike. We need you to stay engaged, keep your boots on the ground, and be ready to mobilize at a moment’s notice.
