C-SPAN, an American cable television network that televises proceedings of the federal government, recently interviewed the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance’s director of federal affairs, Bill Horn. The program, Washington Journal, provides a forum for leading journalists and public policy makers to discuss key events and legislation.
Horn’s 40-minute interview covered topics including efforts to pass ‘Right to Hunt’ constitutional amendments in many states across the country, the effort to ensure access for sportsmen to federal public lands through the Sportsman’s Act of 2014, and the need for the hunting community to protect itself from the relentless attacks of the animal rights and anti-hunting lobby. Sportsmen and other viewers from across the country had the opportunity to call in to ask questions and voice their own opinions.
