Tomorrow, February 11, and Thursday, February 12, the California Fish and Game Commission has a full two days scheduled on issues critical to sportsmen, including sportfishing, mountain lions, black bears, waterfowl, and more, as well as opportunities for public comment.
Wednesday, February 11: Meeting begins at 1 p.m.
Thursday, February 12: Meeting begins at 8:30 a.m.
Both meetings will be held at the California Natural Resources Headquarters Building, 715 P Street, Second Floor, Sacramento, CA 95814.
If you are unable to attend in person, remote options are available.
Why Sportsmen Must Take Action
The Commission must hear from us — the sportsmen — because the future of our hunting and fishing traditions depends on it. Our vital natural resources are entrusted to the Commission’s care, and if we remain silent, others will shape the outcome. As we are well aware in California, animal rights extremists are ready to fill that void and dismantle the heritage we hold dear. Our voices matter; let’s make sure they’re heard.
Protecting Our Way of Life
There has never been a more crucial time in sportsmen’s history than now to be involved and engaged in protecting our way of life. Share this email with your family and friends. Urge them to join the fight with you and the Sportsmen’s Alliance. We ARE the frontline defenders of a way of life increasingly under scrutiny. The legacy of hunting, fishing, and trapping depends on our actions today.
The Sportsmen’s Alliance guarantees hunting, fishing, and trapping for the American sportsman now and forever. We’re there when sportsmen need us most. We are the only organization specifically created to protect the individual hunter, angler, and trapper – no matter the threat. We will never compromise when it comes to defending our way of life in the courts, in the legislatures, in the public square, and at the ballot box. We make this promise to the American sportsman: we will never give up and never give in while proudly securing our future against those seeking to destroy our values, beliefs, and traditions.
