Sportsmen around the nation are becoming more familiar with animal extremists, other radical elements, and even our so-called “allies” working to cancel our way of life forever. The only way we will be able to slow them down is by being more actively involved and engaged in the process of protecting our values, rights, and heritage at every level.
Delaware sportsmen will have the opportunity to do just that. The Advisory Council on Wildlife & Freshwater Fish is holding a meeting with a public comment opportunity tomorrow, Tuesday, March 25 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Richardson & Robbins Building, located at 89 Kings Highway, Dover. You can also join virtually or by phone.
This meeting will cover various subjects and issues important to hunters and anglers, including a tundra swan harvest update and review and recommendation of the 2025-26 waterfowl and migratory game bird season.
The nine-member advisory council advises the Director of the Division of Fish and Wildlife on matters relating to the protection, conservation and propagation of all forms of fish and protected wildlife of Delaware. The council must hear from us, the sportsmen, if we want to protect our heritage. If we don’t, you can guarantee that the animal extremists will fill the void. They are already in other states cratering our hunting, fishing, and trapping traditions from the inside out. We cannot let that happen in the First State.
Do not forget to share this important alert with your family, friends, and fellow sportsmen and gun owners. Urge them to join you and the Sportsmen’s Alliance in standing up to fight, protect, and defend against the rising tide of animal and gun control extremism. The extremists work tirelessly to crater our rights, values and heritage and we must work harder to ensure they are secure today, tomorrow, and for the future.
The Sportsmen’s Alliance guarantees hunting, fishing and trapping for the American sportsman now and forever. We’re there when sportsmen need us most. We are the only organization specifically created to protect the individual hunter, angler and trapper – no matter the threat. We will never compromise when it comes to defending our way of life in the courts, in the legislatures, in the public square and at the ballot box. We make this promise to the American sportsman: we will never give up and never give in while proudly securing our future against those seeking to destroy our values, beliefs, and traditions.
