On Tuesday, May 19, the New Hampshire Fish and Game Commission is holding its monthly public meeting to discuss several points of interest for sportsmen.
Agenda Items:
- Financial Statement/Commission budget
- Update on the mandatory online registration of hunter-harvested furbearers.
- Director and Commissioner Reports: Updates on Commissioner activities, and the Director’s report on recent department activities, including a possible update on the May public input sessions regarding proposed license fee adjustments and draft trout pond rule changes
Meeting Information:
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., at the Gunstock Mountain Resort, 719 Cherry Valley Rd., in Gilford. Please note the venue change from their standard Concord headquarters. There is no live online broadcast for this meeting. While it will be recorded for later viewing, you must be physically present to speak.
Why Participation is Important:
- Defend Your Heritage: Anti-hunting organizations continuously show up to pressure commissioners behind closed doors. If the sportsmen community leaves a void, extremists will fill it.
- Make Your Voice Heard: The public is legally entitled to attend. Once recognized by the Chairman, you have the right to speak directly to the Commission on any agenda item.
