Earlier this week, the Floyd County Commission held a vote on the ordinance that would have banned intact sporting and hunting dogs.
However, due to the overwhelming opposition from sportsmen and constituents, the commission amended the ordinance to exempt sporting and hunting dogs from mandatory spay/neuter requirements.
The Sportsmen’s Alliance thanks the Commission for listening and making the important decision to support sportsmen.
Don’t forget to share the news with family, friends, and fellow sportsmen who live in Floyd County.
