Arizona sportsmen will have the opportunity to protect our way of life when the Game & Fish Commission holds a meeting with a public comment opportunity tomorrow, Friday, March 21, at 8 a.m. at the Graham County Service Building, located at 921 W. Thatcher Blvd., in Safford.
If you are unable to attend you can view the meeting at www.azgfd.gov/commissioncam or may listen to it by calling 404-397-1516 and using access code: 280 046 234##. Members of the public may also view the meeting from any Department Regional Office.
This meeting will cover various subjects and issues important to hunters and anglers, including the planning regarding state & federal lands, commission priorities, and future agenda items.
The five-member Game and Fish Commission makes important rules and regulations for managing, conserving, and protecting wildlife and fisheries resources, and safe and regulated watercraft and off-highway vehicle operations for the benefit of the citizens of Arizona. The commissioners must hear from us, the sportsmen, if we want to protect our heritage. If we don’t, you can guarantee that the animal extremists will fill the void. They are already cratering our outdoor traditions in other states and have made it clear Arizona is a target. We cannot let that happen in the Grand Canyon State.
There has never been a more important time in our history than now to protect our way of life. Sportsmen around the nation are becoming more familiar with animal extremists, other radical elements, and even our so-called “friends” working to cancel our way of life forever. The only way we will be able to slow them down is by being more actively involved and engaged in the process of protecting our values, rights, and heritage at every level.
Do not forget to share this important alert with your family, friends, and fellow sportsmen and gun owners. Urge them to join you and the Sportsmen’s Alliance in standing up to fight, protect, and defend against the rising tide of animal and gun control extremism. The extremists work tirelessly to crater our rights, values and heritage and we must work harder to ensure they are secure today, tomorrow, and for the future.
The Sportsmen’s Alliance guarantees hunting, fishing and trapping for the American sportsman now and forever. We’re there when sportsmen need us most. We are the only organization specifically created to protect the individual hunter, angler and trapper – no matter the threat. We will never compromise when it comes to defending our way of life in the courts, in the legislatures, in the public square and at the ballot box. We make this promise to the American sportsman: we will never give up and never give in while proudly securing our future against those seeking to destroy our values, beliefs, and traditions.
