Colorado Call to Action: Will Your Hunting Rifle and Shotgun Be Banned?
It’s no surprise that anti-sportsmen legislators are wasting no time scheduling legislation to heap more restrictions upon law-abiding citizens and our way of life.
Tomorrow, January 28, at 2 p.m. in the Old Supreme Court, the Senate State, Veterans & Military Affairs Committee is scheduled to hear a bill with devastating effects on hunters.
SB25-003 prohibits knowingly manufacturing, distributing, transferring, selling or purchasing a “specified semiautomatic firearm,” which is defined as a semiautomatic rifle or semiautomatic shotgun with a detachable magazine or a gas-operated semiautomatic handgun with a detachable magazine.

Extremists claim semiautomatic rifles and shotguns need to be banned to protect the public from violent crime. This is far from the truth. SB25-003 will not do anything to reduce or stop the criminal misuse of firearms. This bill will only crater our rights so some can “feel good” about doing something. We cannot let that happen!
We each must make a commitment to ourselves and future generations to stand up and fight, protect and defend against the rising tide of extremism.
