As previously reported, gun-control extremists are using every possible avenue to disarm law-abiding sportsmen and gun owners, including how to uncover personal identifying information on who owns firearms in America through credit card purchases.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 26 at 10 a.m., in room 149, Arkansas House Bill 1443, which creates the “Second Amendment Financial Privacy Act,” is on the agenda to be heard in the House Insurance & Commerce Committee. Eighteen states have already taken steps to protect their sportsmen, and it is now Arkansas’ chance to do the same.
HB 1443 prohibits a financial institution, a payment network, or agents of a payment network from using a firearms merchant category code in a way that distinguishes a firearms retailer from general merchandise retailers or sporting goods retailers located in this state.
Use our Take Action button to email the committee and urge them to protect Arkansas’ sportsmen’s privacy and vote “Yes” on HB 1443.
Don’t forget to share this email with your family, friends, and fellow sportsmen. Ask them to Take Action and email the committee urging them to vote “Yes” on HB 1443. We each must make a commitment to ourselves and future generations to stand up and fight, protect, and defend against the rising tide of animal extremism. They work tirelessly to crater our rights, values and heritage and we must work harder to ensure they are secure today.
