Extreme environmental organizations are attempting to remove grant monies for shooting range construction and improvements from Senate File 2438, the Senate Environment Omnibus bill.
And if that isn’t bad enough, many groups are also demanding that any range constructed or improved with grant monies must then prohibit the use of lead ammunition on their property.
SF 2438 is scheduled to be heard tomorrow, Tuesday, April 18, at 8:30 a.m., by the Senate Finance Committee.
Now is the time for Minnesota sportsmen to email the members of the Finance Committee and urge them to SUPPORT the current language of grant monies for the construction and improvement of shooting sports facilities and OPPOSE any attempt to require non-lead ammunition at such facilities.
Don’t forget to share this message with your family, friends and fellow sportsmen, and urge them to contact the committee to support the current language of the shooting sports facilities.
