Last week, House Bill 38, an important bill to protect sportsmen’s credit card privacy rights reported favorably out of House Judiciary and Rules, Calendar, and Operations of the House Committees. It is scheduled to be heard on the House floor, Tuesday, April 29.
Please use the Take Action button to email your state Representative and ask them to vote “Yes” on HB 38.
As previously reported, gun-control extremists are using every possible avenue to disarm law-abiding sportsmen and gun owners, including how to uncover personal identifying information on who owns firearms, firearms accessories, and ammunition in America. The passage of HB 38 in the Tar Heel State would stop this from happening.
HB 38 prohibits a financial institution or an agent of a financial institution from using a firearms code in a way that distinguishes a firearms dealer physically located in this state from a general merchandise retailer or a sporting goods retailer located in this state.
