North Carolina sportsmen can make their voices heard on Thursday, April 17, at 9 a.m. in NCWRC Conference room, 5th floor, located at 1751 Varsity Drive in Raleigh. The Wildlife Resources Commission will hold a meeting that covers several topics and issues important to sportsmen, including migratory birds and waterfowl, sea trout, wildlife rulemaking and more.
If you are unable to attend in-person, you may join via Zoom by registering in advance.
The commission consists of 19 citizens charged with conserving North Carolina’s wildlife resources and their habitats, and provide programs and opportunities that allow hunters, anglers, boaters and other outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy wildlife-associated recreation.
The commissioners must hear from us, the sportsmen, if we want to protect our heritage. If we don’t, you can guarantee that the animal extremists will fill the void. They are already in other states attacking our hunting, fishing, and trapping traditions from the inside out. We cannot let that happen in the Tarheel State.
Share this alert with your family and friends and encourage them to attend this and future commission meetings in-person or virtual. Urge them to join you and the Sportsmen’s Alliance in standing up to fight, protect, and defend against the relentless attacks from animal extremists. The extremists are working tirelessly to crater our rights, values and heritage and we must work harder to ensure they are secure today, tomorrow, and for the future.
The Sportsmen’s Alliance guarantees hunting, fishing and trapping for the American sportsman now and forever. We’re there when sportsmen need us most. We are the only organization specifically created to protect the individual hunter, angler and trapper – no matter the threat. We will never compromise when it comes to defending our way of life in the courts, in the legislatures, in the public square and at the ballot box. We make this promise to the American sportsman: we will never give up and never give in while proudly securing our future against those seeking to destroy our values, beliefs, and traditions.
