One popular way to ensure hunting and fishing lands do not disappear for sportsmen is with No-Net-Loss laws. This means if hunting and fishing lands are closed then land must be found elsewhere to replace that property.
H.3872 does just that. As early as tomorrow, H.3872, the “Hunting Heritage Protection Act” could be heard on the House floor. Use our Take Action button to email your state representative urging them to support sportsmen and vote “Yes” on H.3872.
This important bill requires the Department of Natural Resources to adopt policies and procedures to ensure that there is no-net-loss of department managed land for hunting and fishing.
With development constantly encroaching on hunting and fishing lands, the “Hunting Heritage Protection Act” is needed more than ever to ensure our cherished traditions do not disappear.
Make sure you share this message with your family, friends, and fellow sportsmen urging them to email their state representative. We each must make a commitment to ourselves and future generations to stand up and fight, protect and defend against the rising tide of animal extremism. Urge them to join you and the Sportsmen’s Alliance in the fight. The extremists work tirelessly to crater our rights, values and heritage and we must work harder to ensure they are secure today and for the future.
The Sportsmen’s Alliance guarantees hunting, fishing and trapping for the American sportsman now and forever. We’re there when sportsmen need us most. We are the only organization specifically created to protect the individual hunter, angler and trapper – no matter the threat. We will never compromise when it comes to defending our way of life in the courts, in the legislatures, in the public square and at the ballot box. We make this promise to the American sportsman: we will never give up and never give in while proudly securing our future against those seeking to destroy our values, beliefs, and traditions. Stay connected to Sportsmen’s Alliance: Online, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
