The Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission will hold committee meetings on Thursday, August 21, at 1 p.m., with the whole commission proceedings on Friday, August 22, at 9 a.m. Both meetings will be at the Region II Office, Ellington Agricultural Center, 5105 Edmondson Pike, in Nashville.
Thursday’s agenda consists of the individual committee meeting. Friday’s agenda will have reports from the day before the committee meetings, which will include specifics on hunter and angler retention and recruitment, hunting seasons and bag limits, and more.
The commissioners need to hear from us, the sportsmen, to ensure they know where we stand on the vital resources they are charged with conserving, managing, and protecting for today and future generations. Because if we don’t, the animal rights extremists will have no problem filling the void. We cannot let that happen in the Volunteer State.
