Vermont state senators will hold a key vote on Senate Bill 321, the biggest threat to hunting in the history of Vermont. Senators will decide what happens to SB 321 in a hearing next week before the Natural Resources and Energy Committee – and it’s imperative that sportsmen contact their senators immediately!
SB 321 would create a separate government panel that intentionally excludes sportsmen and provides recommendations for wildlife management based on the interests of people who do not hunt.
Restrictions in SB 321 would also make bear hunting with dogs impossible and result in the loss of hunting licenses for five years and even a lifetime ban!
Email your senator now and ask them to vote no on the wildlife governance and bear hunting portions of SB 321. Be sure to include your hometown so your senator knows you’re a constituent.
