On Wednesday, April 9, at 5 p.m., at the National Life Dewey Conference Room, located at 1 National Life Drive in Montpelier, the Fish & Wildlife Board is meeting to discuss and vote on important sportsmen-related issues.
If you are unable to attend in-person, you use the button below for instruction on how to attend the meeting virtually.
The board will discuss and vote on the 2025 migratory game bird and moose season, along with taking public comments.
The board consists of 14 citizens charged with considering, amending and voting on rules and procedures that govern management of fish and wildlife resources within the state.
The board must hear from us, the sportsmen, if we want to protect our lifestyle and heritage. If we don’t, you can guarantee that the animal extremists will fill the void. They are already cratering our hunting, fishing, and trapping traditions from the inside out in other states. We cannot let that happen in the Green Mountain State.
There are two public hearing opportunities next month on state deer, moose, turkey and importation rules.
Tuesday, May 6 at 6:30 PM, at Winooski Middle School & High School, located at 60 Normand St., Winooski.
Thursday, May 8 at 6:30 PM, at Springfield High School, located at 303 South St, Springfied.
Share this alert with your family and friends and encourage them to attend this and future board meetings in-person or virtual. Urge them to join you and the Sportsmen’s Alliance in standing up to fight, protect, and defend against the relentless attacks from animal extremists. The extremists are working tirelessly to crater our rights, values and heritage and we must work harder to ensure they are secure today, tomorrow, and for the future.
The Sportsmen’s Alliance guarantees hunting, fishing and trapping for the American sportsman now and forever. We’re there when sportsmen need us most. We are the only organization specifically created to protect the individual hunter, angler and trapper – no matter the threat. We will never compromise when it comes to defending our way of life in the courts, in the legislatures, in the public square and at the ballot box. We make this promise to the American sportsman: we will never give up and never give in while proudly securing our future against those seeking to destroy our values, beliefs, and traditions.
