- Location: Hybrid meeting hosted live at the Chatauqua Resort & Conference Center, 304 14th St. NW, in Long Beach, WA, and broadcast online via Zoom.
Critical Agenda Items
The Commission will be voting and taking briefings on issues that directly impact hunting, conservation, and state policy:
- Open Public Input: Scheduled for Friday and Saturday mornings starting at 8:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. respectively. This is our direct line to the commissioners. Sportsmen are encouraged to use this time to respectfully demand transparency and commissioner accountability regarding the recent independent investigation.
- 2027 Agency Request Legislation: Staff will seek a final decision from the Commission on legislative proposals for the upcoming session.
- 2027 Operating & Capital Budget Request: The Commission will vote on the maintenance and performance level budget requests for 2027-2029.
- Land Transactions & Wildlife Status: Briefings, public comments, and decisions will take place regarding state land acquisitions and the periodic status review of protected species.
