Tomorrow, Thursday, February 26, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR)will host two important meetings regarding the future of our state’s wildlife and fisheries:
- Wolf Advisory Committee Meeting (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.): This hybrid meeting (in-person and virtual) will cover critical policy and technical updates, including management objectives and future harvest seasons. In-person attendees may register on-site to provide verbal comments.
- Northwest Wisconsin Walleye Overview (6 p.m. – 8 p.m.): This virtual-only session will detail the current status of walleye populations, habitat health, and stocking strategies specifically for Northwest Wisconsin.
