Wednesday, Feb. 8, was the crossover deadline date for the 2023 legislative session. This important date means all introduced bills must pass out of their house of origin in order to continue through the legislative process. Those bills that do not “crossover” to the other chamber are defeated for the year.
Below is a list of some of the bills that have crossed over. Click here to view additional bills.
SF 116 protects Wyoming’s firearm industry.
SF 169 creates a state shooting complex development and oversight task force.
SF 178 creates a mountain lion dog-training season.
HB 104 allows the the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission to establish rules and regulations for predator hunting with the use of artificial light, including thermal or infrared imaging.

HB 95 prohibits local government from enacting and enforcing policies on the use of working dogs.
HB 217 replaces the term trophy game animal with large carnivore game animal.
HB 253 prohibits financial institutions and credit card companies from generating or collecting any personally identifying information except to identify those purchases as sporting goods.
