Wyoming sportsmen will have the opportunity to be involved in the process of managing and protecting the future of our lifestyle and heritage. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will host several public meetings throughout the state to present and discuss proposed regulations.
Your attendance and participation are important, as your comments will be shared with the Game and Fish Commission.
There has never been a more important time in sportsmen’s history than now to be involved and engaged in protecting our way of life. Animal extremists and other radical elements are working hard to cancel our way of life forever, and even Wyoming is not safe.
The department and commissioners must hear from us, the sportsmen, if we want to ensure the future of our heritage. If we don’t, you can guarantee that the animal extremists will fill the void. They are already in other states cratering our hunting, fishing, and trapping traditions from the inside out. We cannot let that happen in our great state.
These meetings will cover proposed regulations for:
- Chapter 22, Watercraft
- Chapter 42, Mountain Lion Hunting Seasons
- Chapter 44, Regulation for Issuance of Licenses, Permits, Stamps, Tags, Preference Points and Competitive Raffle Chances
- Chapter 46, Fishing Regulations
- Chapter 47, Gray Wolf Hunting Seasons
The first three meetings are:
Thursday, May 8, at 6 p.m.
- Cody Game and Fish Regional Office at 420 N. Cache in Cody
- Chapters 22 and 46 will be presented and discussed
- Chapters 42, 44, and 47 will be presented and discussed on Monday, June 2
Monday, May 12, at 6 p.m.

Share this email with your family and friends and urge them to participate in one or more of these important meetings. Urge them to join you and the Sportsmen’s Alliance in standing up to fight, protect, and defend against the relentless attacks from animal extremists. The extremists work tirelessly to crater our rights, values and heritage and we must work harder to ensure they are secure today, tomorrow, and for the future.
The Sportsmen’s Alliance guarantees hunting, fishing and trapping for the American sportsman now and forever. We’re there when sportsmen need us most. We are the only organization specifically created to protect the individual hunter, angler and trapper – no matter the threat. We will never compromise when it comes to defending our way of life in the courts, in the legislatures, in the public square and at the ballot box. We make this promise to the American sportsman: we will never give up and never give in while proudly securing our future against those seeking to destroy our values, beliefs, and traditions. Stay connected to Sportsmen’s Alliance: Online, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
