Brian Dowler

Brian has dedicated his career to increasing access and opportunities for hunters, trappers and anglers. He started his career in nonprofit work in 2004 as a public relations professional with the National Wild Turkey Federation and developed NWTF’s direct marketing and membership program in the second half of his career there. Dowler has now been with the Sportsmen’s Alliance since May of 2020, joining the organization at the height of the pandemic and developing a nonevent fundraising system to help overcome the organization’s lack of event fundraising during that time.

Brian has a wife and a daughter and is a lifelong hunter and angler. He enjoys trips home to West Virginia to hunt his family farm and chasing trout throughout the endless streams of Appalachia.
