The Sportsmen’s Alliance and Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation were created to protect hunting, fishing and trapping nationwide, in every realm possible.
By protecting our popular pastimes that fund the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation, we protect the model itself. Our holistic approach spans the political and legal spectrum, and incorporates data-driven research and educational outreach efforts.
With the Alliance as a 501(c)4 and the Foundation as a 501(c)3, we can champion sportsmen wherever and whenever they’re attacked. We’re the only organization whose founding and mission has always been 100% dedicated to protecting sportsmen from the animal-rights movement. We don’t hold boots-on-the-ground conservation projects or keep a registry of record-book animals – what we do allows those conservation and hunting efforts to take place, many of which are conducted by our great partners in the conservation and advocacy worlds.
We are the shield that protects the industry and the tip of the spear when it needs to fight back. We are a small but effective organization that responds quickly and decisively when and where it’s needed most. We are here for all sportsmen, hunters, anglers, trappers and recreational shooters, and we accomplish a complete protection for all through our coordinated advocacy, research and education work to protect and advance their interests.
How We Protect Your Passions
ADVOCACY
We work tirelessly to provide the most complete legal and legislative defense of hunting, fishing, trapping and recreational shooting possible. We do more than just protect your passions in all 50 states, at the ballot box, and in federal and state court, we push to expand and advance them to ensure future generations can enjoy this heritage, too!
RESEARCH
Keeping political leaders, the hunting and firearms industry, and the general public informed of the facts is paramount to protecting our heritage. Whether it’s polling data to defeat an anti-hunting ballot initiative or an economic impact study, we engage in the research necessary to protect sportsmen and successful wildlife management nationwide.
EDUCATION
We educate all sectors of the public and industry on everything from current threats and wildlife management decisions to recruitment and retention of sportsmen. We’ve expanded our reach into schools to educate young Americans on how the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation works and why it’s critical to the future of wildlife and wild places.
