On Wednesday, May 3, the House passed House Bill 61, a bill to protect hunting and firearms during a declared state of emergency. The bill has been sent to the Senate and is already scheduled for testimony on Monday, May 8 in the Senate Judiciary Committee. Please use our Take Action button to email the committee urging them to SUPPORT HB 61.
As we previously reported, HB 61 will put in place important safeguards to protect sportsmen and gun owners during declared emergencies.
