With state legislatures in session, bills are starting to move. Here are a few of which to take note:
CONNECTICUT
Connecticut’s Senate Bill 118 would allow ammunition to be sold at gun clubs and ranges to a person without an ammunition certificate. Current to buy ammunition in the state you must hold an ammunition certificate. SB 118 is in the Senate Committee Public Safety and Security. MINNESOTA
Minnesota has introduced House Bill 150 which would allow scopes to be used on muzzleloader rifles during muzzleloader season. Only sportsmen and women age 60 or over can use scopes according to current law. Currently, HB 150 is in the House Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance committee. VERMONT|
Vermont House Bill 31 would allow hunter using a firearm to also use a suppressor for taking game. HB 31 brings Vermont in line with other states which have passed similar measures to legalize hunting with suppressors. HB 31 is currently in the Natural Resources, Fish, and Wildlife committee.
