There has never been a more important time in our history than now to protect our way of life. And the only way to do this is by being more actively involved and engaged in the process of protecting our values, rights, and heritage at every level.
Montana sportsmen will have the opportunity to get involved on Monday, Jan. 20, at 3 p.m. in room 405. The Senate Local Government Committee is scheduled to hear an important bill protecting sporting and working dogs doing what they were born and bred to do.
Senate Bill 96, the Working Animal Protection Act, prohibits a local government from enacting an ordinance or resolution that terminates, bans, effectively bans, or creates an undue hardship relating to the job or use of a working animal or animal enterprise in the commerce, service, legal hunting, agriculture, husbandry, transportation, law enforcement, ranching, entertainment, education or exhibition.
Please use the Take Action button to email the Senate Local Government Committee members and urge them to support SB 96.
Don’t forget to forward this action email request to your family, friends and fellow sportsmen and urge them to contact the committee to support SB 96. Our sportsmen’s values and rights must be secured today, and together, we can secure our cherished traditions for the future generations of the Big Sky Country.
The Sportsmen’s Alliance guarantees hunting, fishing and trapping for the American sportsman now and forever. We’re there when sportsmen need us most. We are the only organization specifically created to protect the individual hunter, angler and trapper – no matter the threat. We will never compromise when it comes to defending our way of life in the courts, in the legislatures, in the public square and at the ballot box. We make this promise to the American sportsman: we will never give up and never give in while proudly securing our future against those seeking to destroy our values, beliefs, and traditions.
