Several states have already introduced and passed legislation that protects and ensures its sportsmen’s values and lifestyle. Connecticut can do the same.
On Monday, March 24, at noon in room 2B, the Joint Environmental Committee has scheduled a public hearing on two sportsmen-related bills.
Senate Bill 1523 authorizes the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to establish a bear hunting season.
House Bill 7231 authorizes the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to allow hunting on Sundays.
SB 1523 and HB 7231 are not only important wildlife management tools, but they also give sportsmen another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors participating in an active lifestyle outdoors and spending more time with family and friends.
Use the Take Action button to email the committee. Urge them to support sportsmen and vote “Yes” on SB 1523 and HB 7231.
