On Tuesday, Feb. 27, the Senate Judiciary Committee passed Senate Bill 2845 by a vote of 3 to 2. SB 2845 will now be sent to the full Senate for consideration.
SB 2845 prohibits a person under the age of 21 from purchasing, possessing, or controlling ammunition, with limited exceptions.
Please use our Take Action button to email your state Senator urging him/her to OPPOSE SB 2875. Criminals, by definition, do not follow the law, and SB 2875 will not stop criminals from finding a way to use and possess ammunition. The only people who are affected by this legislation are the law-abiding, who are not the cause of our state’s gun violence problem.
Don’t forget to share this message with your friends, family, and fellow sportsmen. Ask them to use the Take Action button to email their Senator asking him/her to oppose SB 2875.
