On Monday, at 9 a.m. in room EW40, the House State Affairs committee is scheduled to take public testimony on two bills to protect the firearm industry from discrimination.
Unfortunately, we are seeing more and more companies and businesses run by animal-rights extremists and/or gun-control fanatics who are out to suffocate sportsmen and gun owners out of existence.
However, Idaho pro-gun legislators are pushing back by offering up these two important bills.
House Bill 189 prohibits the state from engaging in contracts with companies that boycott certain business sectors and public contracts disfavoring certain sectors.
House Bill 190 ensures that banks and credit unions, designated by the Idaho State Treasurer as depositories for public monies, do not boycott industries important to our state and the livelihood of our citizens.
Please use our take action to email the members of the House State Affairs Committee urging them to support H 189 and H 190.
Don’t forget to share this message with your family, friends, and fellow sportsmen urging them to do the same. Sportsmen throughout the Gem State must stay actively involved to defend our hunting, fishing and trapping heritage for present and future generations to enjoy.
Please, take a moment to check out our legislative map to see what bills the Sportsmen’s Alliance are monitoring in Idaho and around the nation.
