Yesterday, the House concurred with the Senate amendments on the important canine care bill, House Bill 1412. This important bill establishes a statewide standard of care for canines and protects sporting dogs and hobby breeders. HB 1412 will now be sent to Governor Eric Holcomb for his consideration.
Please use our Take Action button to email the Governor, asking him to help protect our best friends by standardizing their care before finding their forever homes and signing HB 1412 into law.
Indiana’s pro-sportsmen legislators are not stopping working to protect sportsmen there. Earlier this week, the Senate Corrections and Criminal Law Committee passed House Bill 1235 by a vote of 5 to 3. HB 1235 will now be sent to the Senate floor for its final consideration at any time.
House Bill 1235 protects Indiana’s firearm industry from those who want to destroy the sporting community with crippling lawsuits against firearms manufacturers for the violent acts of third parties. Lawful firearm manufacturers and firearm dealers should not be responsible for crimes committed by third parties outside of their control.
Please use our Take Action button to email your state Senator urging him/her to vote Yes to HB 1235.
Please make sure you use both Take Action buttons to ensure your email request support for HB 1412 is received by the Governor and your request to support HB 1235 is received by your state Senator.
