Alabama
Alabama Sen. Tom Whatley (R- Auburn) has sponsored legislation, Senate Bill 189, which would allow for baiting of deer and feral hogs on private land. Current law does not allow for this type of hunting. Currently, SB 189 is in the Senate Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry Committee where it is waiting to be heard by the committee.
Minnesota
Minnesota Rep. Steve Drazkowski (R- Mazeppa) has sponsored legislation known as House Bill 1163, which would allow for the use of night vision for taking coyotes. Currently Minnesota law does not allow for the use of night vision when taking these animals. HB 1163 was referred to Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance committee where it is awaiting a hearing.
