As we mentioned when we reported on the environmental omnibus spending bill (HF 2310/SF 2062), animal-rights extremists are trying to amend anything they can with a permanent hunting ban on wolves in Minnesota.
The Alliance has just gotten word that animal extremists will attempt to amend Senate File 2904, an omnibus environmental policy bill, tomorrow, April 26, when it comes up on the Senate floor for a vote. Sportsmen cannot afford to let this happen.
A wolf hunt ban is not how to manage wildlife, but this is exactly what the animal extremists want. They want wildlife professionals out of the way. They want legislators to make emotional decisions with no consideration of the consequences. They want an extreme protectionist ideology enshrined in state law, and that’s what the wolf hunt ban gives them.
Please use our Take Action button to email your state Senator letting them know the successful North American Model of Wildlife Conservation MUST be followed and to OPPOSE the “feel-good” driven politics of a wolf hunt ban amendment.
