On Thursday, April 17 at 8:30 a.m. Montana sportsmen will have the opportunity to weigh-in on fish and game regulations virtually via Zoom (regional offices will be open and available for those without internet access) when the Fish and Wildlife Commission holds a meeting that will cover several topics and issues important to sportsmen, including 2025-26 migratory bird regulations, 2025 fishing access site rule, along with public comment, and more.
If you would like to provide public comment via Zoom you must register before noon on Thursday, April 16.
The commission consists of seven citizens who are charged with setting fish and wildlife regulations, approves property acquisitions, and approves certain rules and activities of the department as provided by statute.
The commissioners must hear from us, the sportsmen, if we want to protect our heritage. If we don’t, you can guarantee that the animal extremists will fill the void. They are already destroying our hunting, fishing, and trapping traditions from the inside out in other states. We cannot let that happen in Big Sky Country.
Share this alert with your family and friends and encourage them to attend this and future commission meetings in-person or virtual. Urge them to join you and the Sportsmen’s Alliance in standing up to fight, protect, and defend against the relentless attacks from animal extremists. The extremists are working tirelessly to crater our rights, values and heritage and we must work harder to ensure they are secure today, tomorrow, and for the future.
The Sportsmen’s Alliance guarantees hunting, fishing and trapping for the American sportsman now and forever. We’re there when sportsmen need us most. We are the only organization specifically created to protect the individual hunter, angler and trapper – no matter the threat. We will never compromise when it comes to defending our way of life in the courts, in the legislatures, in the public square and at the ballot box. We make this promise to the American sportsman: we will never give up and never give in while proudly securing our future against those seeking to destroy our values, beliefs, and traditions.
