Last night, House Bill 372 failed to reach the required two-thirds votes of all the members of the legislature. Because HB 372 was a legislative proposal to amend the Montana constitution, it required an affirmative roll call vote of two-thirds of all the members of the legislature for passage.
This important legislation would have further strengthened Montana’s right to hunt, fish and trap.
