The New Hampshire Fish & Game Commission will hold an in-person meeting Tuesday, August 19, at 1 p.m. at the New Hampshire Fish & Game (NHFG) Headquarters, 11 Hazen Drive, in Concord.
The public is invited to attend this meeting and may speak on any item on the agenda. Included on the agenda for tomorrow is an overview of proposed rule changes, committee structure, public engagement and education, and more.
Also happening on Thursday, August 21, at 6 p.m. at NHFG headquarters is a public hearing on rule updates related to lake trout, salmon, and black bass, and fishing tournaments: definitions, reporting, and derbys. Public comments may also be submitted from now until August 28 at comments@wildlife.nh.gov.
The commission is charged with being stewards of fish, wildlife, and marine resources, along with setting general policy in areas related to conservation and protection, the management of wildlife and habitat, establishing positions on proposed legislation affecting fish, wildlife, and marine resources, and the overall management of the department.
It is vital that commissioners hear from us, the sportsmen, if we want to protect our lifestyle and heritage. If we don’t, the animal extremists will fill the void. They are already cratering our hunting, fishing, and trapping traditions from the inside out in other states. We cannot let that happen in the Granite State.
If you were not able to attend this meeting and would like to see what you missed, a video recording will be posted here as soon as it is available.
Share this alert with your family and friends and encourage them to attend this and future commission meetings. Urge them to join you and the Sportsmen’s Alliance in standing up to fight, protect, and defend against the relentless attacks from animal extremists. The extremists are working tirelessly to crater our rights, values and heritage and we must work harder to ensure they are secure today, tomorrow, and for the future.
The Sportsmen’s Alliance guarantees hunting, fishing and trapping for the American sportsman now and forever. We’re there when sportsmen need us most. We are the only organization specifically created to protect the individual hunter, angler and trapper – no matter the threat. We will never compromise when it comes to defending our way of life in the courts, in the legislatures, in the public square and at the ballot box. We make this promise to the American sportsman: we will never give up and never give in while proudly securing our future against those seeking to destroy our values, beliefs, and traditions.
