This Friday, August 15, the New Mexico State Game Commission will meet at Reserve School District, 24 Mountaineer Road, in Reserve to discuss several issues important to sportsmen.
The agenda includes discussions regarding wolf management, proposed rule for shed hunting, proposed changes to hunting and fishing licenses and applications, and other items essential to hunters, anglers, and trappers.
Commissioners need to know that sportsmen are engaged because when we are not, animal extremists and other radical elements will fill the void. And New Mexico is no stranger to the voices of animal extremists and other radical elements wreaking havoc on our lifestyle.
That is why there has never been a more critical time than now for New Mexico sportsmen to be engaged in the process. We are the only ones who can promote and protect our values, rights, and heritage. Sportsmen cannot let what is happening in Washington happen in the Land of Enchantment.
Don’t forget to share this meeting alert with your family and friends and encourage them to attend this and future commission meetings in-person or virtual. Urge them to join you and the Sportsmen’s Alliance in standing up to fight, protect, and defend against the relentless attacks from animal extremists.
The Sportsmen’s Alliance guarantees hunting, fishing and trapping for the American sportsman now and forever. We’re there when sportsmen need us most. We are the only organization specifically created to protect the individual hunter, angler and trapper – no matter the threat. We will never compromise when it comes to defending our way of life in the courts, in the legislatures, in the public square and at the ballot box. We make this promise to the American sportsman: we will never give up and never give in while proudly securing our future against those seeking to destroy our values, beliefs, and traditions.
