On Wednesday, February 25, the Ohio Wildlife Council will meet in person to hear proposed changes to hunting, trapping, and fishing regulations for the upcoming seasons, as well as other matters, including a public comment opportunity.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Division of Wildlife, District One Office located at 1500 Dublin Road in Columbus.
Why Your Attendance Matters
If you can attend, please do so. Participation in these meetings is important, as they are the primary way for the public to influence how wildlife is managed. If the public remains silent, others will shape the outcome.
Defending the Buckeye State
The Sportsmen’s Alliance advocates every day to ensure that bureaucrats and anti-hunting activists don’t dictate the future of the Buckeye State. However, this advocacy cannot be done alone. It requires public involvement to show the Council that Ohio’s sportsmen are united, informed, and vigilant.
Share this email with your family, friends, and fellow sportsmen. Urge them to join the fight with you and the Sportsmen’s Alliance. The legacy of hunting, fishing, and trapping depends on our actions today.
The Sportsmen’s Alliance guarantees hunting, fishing and trapping for the American sportsman now and forever. We’re there when sportsmen need us most. We are the only organization specifically created to protect the individual hunter, angler and trapper – no matter the threat. We will never compromise when it comes to defending our way of life in the courts, in the legislatures, in the public square and at the ballot box. We make this promise to the American sportsman: we will never give up and never give in while proudly securing our future against those seeking to destroy our values, beliefs, and traditions.
