The Colorado semiautomatic firearm ban that was scheduled to be heard on the Senate floor last Friday, January 31, was rescheduled for this Friday, February 7.
Use our Take Action button now if you have not emailed your state Senator. As previously reported, SB25-003 will have devastating effects on hunters. Don’t forget to share this important alert with your family, friends, and fellow sportsmen. Your state Senator must hear from you and the sportsmen community opposing SB25-003.
SB25-003 prohibits knowingly manufacturing, distributing, transferring, selling, or purchasing a “specified semiautomatic firearm,” which is defined as a semiautomatic rifle or semiautomatic shotgun with a detachable magazine or a gas-operated semiautomatic handgun with a detachable magazine.
Extremists believe banning the possession of all firearms, including our semiautomatic hunting rifles and shotguns, will reduce the state’s firearm crimes. We know SB25-003 is not the answer. Criminals are the cause of the Centennial State’s firearm crime rate, not its sportsmen.
