Three Wildlife Board Member Positions Open
There has never been a more important time in sportsmen’s history than now to be involved and engaged in protecting our way of life. Animal extremists and other radical elements are working hard to cancel our way of life forever, and even Utah is not safe. The only way we will be able to slow them down is by being more actively involved and engaged in the process of protecting our values and heritage.
There is not one but an opportunity for three anglers, hunters, and trappers to be actively involved in helping to protect and promote sportsmen value and heritage within the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources.
Utah has a seven-member Wildlife Board that helps make the final decision on managing Utah’s wildlife. This means you, the sportsman, have the chance to ensure the process of protecting our values and heritage does not fall into the hands of animal rights extremists. If we don’t, then the animal extremists will, as they continue to press to fill such positions in other states while cratering our hunting, fishing, and trapping traditions from the inside out. We cannot let that happen in Utah.
Applications are being accepted now until 5 p.m. on March 31st. One position must be filled by a resident of the state’s Northeastern Region, and the other two positions are open to a resident from any region within the state.
When America’s sportsmen stand together, we remain the most powerful political force in our nation’s history. It is time we take back what is ours by ensuring we stay fully engaged in the fight.
