Sportsmen Protections Overwhelmingly Passes Legislature
Last week, important legislation protecting Ohio sportsmen and gun owners passed the House 63 to 27 and was sent back to the Senate for concurrence. Yesterday, the Senate overwhelmingly concurred 25 to 6. Senate Bill 58 now heads to Governor Mike DeWine for consideration.
SB 58 prohibits a person from being required to purchase firearms insurance and prohibits the tracking of firearms and ammunition purchases by sportsmen and gun owners.
Please use our Take Action button to email Governor DeWine and urge him to sign SB 58 into law. SB 58 is our chance to protect ourselves from the forces that want to crater our values and hunting and firearm heritage!
Don’t forget to share this alert with your family, friends, and fellow sportsmen. Encourage them to Take Action also contacting the Governor and asking him to sign SB 58. The Buckeye State needs all its sportsmen and gun owners to stay fully engaged against those who want to eliminate our way of life.
