Firearm Insurance Bill Amended & Passed with More Sportsmen Protections
Earlier today, Tuesday, December 10, the Ohio House Insurance Committee amended Senate Bill 58 before passing it out of committee. SB 58 is now eligible to be heard on the House floor, which could be as early as tomorrow, Wednesday, December 11.
SB 58 will not only prohibit a person from being required to purchase firearms insurance, it now prohibits the tracking of firearms and ammunition purchases by sportsmen and gun owners.
Please use our Take Action button to email your state Representative Today and urge him/her to vote “Yes” on SB 58. The antis are working every angle to make law-abiding sportsmen and gun owners pay for the criminal activities of others. SB 58 is our chance to protect ourselves from the forces that want to crater our values and hunting and firearm heritage!
Don’t forget to share this alert with your family, friends, and fellow sportsmen. Encourage them to use the Take Action to contact their state Representative and urge him/her to vote “Yes” on SB 58. The Buckeye State needs all its sportsmen and gun owners to stay fully engaged against those who want to eliminate our way of life.
