Nevada: Board of Wildlife Contest Committee Meeting Tuesday, January 14
Nevada sportsmen are not strangers to animal extremists and other radical elements working to cancel our way of life forever. They have already tried and have promised to continue their relentless assault in 2025. The only way we are going to be able to slow them down is by being more actively involved and engaged in the process of protecting our values and heritage.
On Tuesday, January 14, at 5:30 p.m., Nevada sportsmen, in-person or on Zoom, will have the opportunity to do just that. The Board of Wildlife Contest Committee is meeting to discuss and possibly take action on the fate of wildlife contests, specifically for coyote calling contests. Remember, the opposition is never happy with just closing down one opportunity. They will return year after year chipping away at their agenda to eliminate all forms of hunting, fishing, and trapping.
There is a full agenda of presentations and discussion. A public comment period will take place at the start of this meeting.
Never has there been a more important time in Nevada history than now to be involved and engaged in protecting our way of life. We each must make a commitment to ourselves and future generations to stand up to fight, protect, and defend against the rising tide of animal extremism.
