Sportsmen’s Alliance proudly announces the hiring of Nate Whiteman as Director of Field Operations. Whiteman’s professional background includes fulfilling duties as both the Director of Recruitment and Director of Fundraising/Special Events for the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance (no affiliation to Sportsmen’s Alliance).
Having been introduced to the outdoors by both his grandfathers early in life, he has a deep appreciation for the Sportsmen’s Alliance mission and work.
“I don’t think I could better serve our outdoor heritage and the nation’s future outdoor enthusiasts by being anywhere else,” said Whiteman. “I look forward to collaborating with the talented staff at Sportsmen’s Alliance and building upon this organization’s 38 years of accomplishments. Every member of every conservation organization should be a member of the Sportsmen’s Alliance, as we protect the hunting, trapping and fishing seasons they work to improve. Without the Sportsmen’s Alliance, those seasons, and those organizations, don’t exist.”
Though he has a great passion for all outdoor activities, Whiteman ranks waterfowl hunting and fly fishing as his favorite pursuits. He and his wife of 25 years, Suzanne, have instilled this same love of the outdoors in both their adult children, who try to spend as much time in nature as possible.
